Other Lanclass and Topo

Information and support relating to this forthcoming New Zealand Vector Land Class addon.

Postby tdale » Tue Sep 21, 2010 4:31 pm

Hi all

I have Christian Stocks payware topo and landclass I think thats Roads and Rivers?

Can these be simply unchecked or do they need to be uninstalled?

Do they have files that will conflict with VLC or worse still will they have overridden any default FSX files?

Cheers and thanks

Tony

Now that I have my new GTX480 I am keen to get back into it. Have a clean FSX plus the red Baron and some Real NZ will now install the rest of RealNZ and VLC and the FS-Creations. A true NZ only installation of FSX.

Just uncheck them otherwise they will conflict with VLC

Hi there - I'm an ex-user of FS9-FSX patched Red Baron/Geographx Mesh, Topo and Landclass scenery. I installed VLC this evening (Great work BTW Timmo!!) and can confirm that you just need to deselect the Red Baron products - and VLC will work just perfect!! clapping.gif

In my experience (During one quick test flight around NZHN and up towards NZAA) - I find that VLC loads quicker than the Red Baron products and has a higher degree of accuracy and realism........ now I just have to convince the one that controls the purse strings to let me buy my three monitors and two new video cards to crank VLC up to the max!!

Regards!!

JUST don,t throw your copy of Red Baron/Geographx Mesh, Topo and Landclass scenery , if you have many great addons for FS9 , its the primary and if you the have many addons i do , it counts! as so long your still use both Simulations winkyy.gif

Oh I agree with you and I haven't abondoned it for that very reason Ian!!! FS9 is still very much alive and kicking in this house and I wouldn't be without Red Baron for FS9 - although FSX with VLC is a whole different story!!! notworthy.gif
