Whilst I'm enjoying the fun diversion winkyy.gif ... could I just re-ask ... anyone here able to compare this Airbus with other offerings?

I've looked at the Aerosoft forum, but it's full of bug reports so it's difficult to get a feel for where it stands against the opposition.

Basically, I want to know whether it's worth buying!

This sort of tips the scale for me ... going to have to buy this ... bugs or not! I hope you're on commission!!!!!

Sorry, Ian ... you lost me there! laugh.gif care to chop [the above] up into sound-byte sizes? I'm particularly interested in the "West Melton" bit. Is that where the screenshot was taken?

How does she fly? Better than the default airbus?
My default is very unresponsive until about 50ft then highly sensitive. Might be worth the money if this one is better.

I don't mind the Airbus as much any more

Gary , I'm not much into FMCs but i do use them , your a car engines man , id forget the 320 and go the A2A 377 Strat or P47 maybe , The Stratocruiser is one fun model to suit the distance and really requires old mehcanial know , that would suit you to the ground , the 17 is the same .. hells the 320 is a push button and go , course mentioned 17 , its the type that gets ya interested beyond a point were you start learning the history , i,m sure this is an area you love , you want something different , the B17 for training then the B377 or should i put the P47 in front .

The A320 , still undecided - enjoying it tho , it is an Areosoft product , I have the F-16 , Hangered simply the same as all other fast movers , the Catalina on the other hand from the same production team is equal to A2A and is highly recommended

Constellation from 'flight-one' example with all the hype disappointed

Gary hope this helps , .. pss , always welcome to stop thru and try them all out smile.gif -

that,s not possible i guess , but end the day , do want plug in and fly be a passenger or really try something new or should i say OLD the STRAT is mind blown highly top shelf !

The 727 is my steam era bird of choice. The closest you get to an FMC is the CIVA INS and all that does is steer the plane, the autopilot knows about following radials and glideslopes and headings, and it can hold the current altitude or pitch - other than that it's all down to the pilot and a pencil and paper.

I do want an airbus though, much as I like the boeings and am hanging out for PMDG's NGX there's no denying that A320's are pretty.
