Don't purchase this addon yet! The throttles will NOT work with the normal keyboard commands (a joystick is required to make throttles work) and the AirbusX preset views are just annoying and alot of people are having problems and issues with it!

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like another case of "rush this one out before we've beta-tested it properly" sad.gif

One of the sad (but inevitable) effects of the Internet is that producers get sloppy - releasing half-baked, half-finished software, expecting users to install updates almost immediately after initial release [sigh]. Of course, some bugs get through - even after decent testing - and online updates are a great way of correcting that ... but it should be the exception, rather than the rule. Rant over!!!!

Eddy, so are you saying you've bought it yourself and are disappointed? or are just basing your stand on other peoples feedback? You seem pretty convinced about this.
Most modern joysticks have a throttle these days dont they? Cant imagine using Function keys to do that now. Hardly seems to be a show-stopper to me.

Yup. I don't have a joystick so the throttles won't work using the F-keys on my keyboard so Im alittle disappointed. winkyy.gif I looked at the Aerosoft AirbusX forums and they say they might be doing a fix.

You just bought VLC for probably twice what a joystick would cost on trademe laugh.gif You're missing out when it comes to FS on a non joystick system. I can't fly on the keys mind you :S

Bargain - and being Microsft it's quality, and perfectly designed for windows and FS

You must really have the knack of not over-correcting. I've had a play on FSX when I just want to quickly test something, and keys-only always has me careening all over the sky! laugh.gif

Aerosofts A320 The sound effects really put you in the pilot seat , but this one being so detailed requires a little reading and cockpit orientation I never had a problem
on finals , getting understand the pitch up and down attitude i would love to get a real time 320 pilot to go though the systems , Boeing , dose,t matter who,s model or
type i could easily land in Wellington , Eddie could be right ? obvious a patch is forthcoming for other things like other views and bits and pieces .
I do like anything Jan-Kees paints always smile.gif

Always the great with the views tho
