Airworthy Strikemaster for sale. Pretty good price. Obviously this would require some support and spares to operate. Very interesting for me in particular as I have both worked on these aircraft and was lucky enough to fly in '70 in 1988 (assuming this is still the original tail number)

Even managed to find a pic, although the number on the nose is not visible.

Pax on Blunty flights came back in one of two states- either holding sick bags vowing never to do it again, or smiling from ear to ear and buzzing for hours. Luckily I was the latter.

I flew with FltLt "Jugg" Jackson. His first name escapes me. We were number 4 in a 4 ship formation. Flew up to Hamilton at 22,000 ft then descended and closed up for a formation flypast over a parade down the main street, then buzz and break over Te Rapa. After that we split up and did low level through waikato past taupo and onwards almost to Napier before turning back to Ohakea, 200 ft most of the way at 400 kts in places !! Then rejoined for a 4 ship buzz and break over Ohakea and landing. All up about a 1 and 1/2 hour flight. Bum was getting pretty numb by then I can tell you !!

Sorry the Mig is not my cup of tea, nor is there much choice of getting that airborne !!
