If you can see the guy in the blue shirt and slacks, he IS installed.

You can ignor ANY pilot texture in the sim objects folders. I did say look in the FS9/texture folder, I think. There will only be one there.

Ah! Found! Look for:

RASSF260_Pilot.bmp

Yes I went off and grizzed at Realair, then had to cancel the previous grizzing email...
I cut all the RASSF260_xxx.bmp files out of the main texture folder and put them in the aircraft folder, as God intended.
Now that wussy wide-eyed pilot is gone, replaced by cool, alpha-channel-shaded dudes.

I even found time to dress up the cbris shiny one:

Cool paint.

The only NZ SF-260 (since long gone)

This one displayed at CHCH in 1987 ... heck! strange to also see the old CAC hanger , the international terminal sits there today .

Charl , change a simple thing like the pilot , make the entire plane change face wink.gif

The pilot looks great Charl..I must reinstall the SF-260

I reckon a paint job of the SF-260 (with a change in rego) to make a matching pair with this L-39 paint job would be pretty cool...

Totally transformed it for me...see Eagleskinners are useful, after all!
(Thank you for persevering Chris, I really thought I'd lost the plot there for a moment. In my defence, the readme for the replacement pilots wants you to find "pilot" in the aircraft texture folder, and my Windows Search for some reason did not find the RAS stuff in the main texture folder...go figure. I do have 768 "xxpilotxx" bmp's in there - seriously.)

Paul, you'll be amazed (again) at how good this thing is - with these pilots and paints I've stopped treating it as an aerobatic toy for a moment, and it's a joy to fly.
Be a great pairing alright, your L-39 and this bird: Breitling V2
