KBT P-3C

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Splitpin » Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:01 pm

Do any of you know if any of the repaints/ Addon a/c for the KBT Fs9 Orion have been re-done for FSX ?
They upgraded the package for fsx (p-3c) but i havent seen the the WP or Aires (EP) anywhere.......they run in fsx , but the textures are bit loose, and the panels dont work.

I have all the repaints (customs, fire bomber, Hurricane hunter etc) for fs9 ....but would love to know if they are around for fsx.

Cheers

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the only RNZAF P-3 repaint on the KBT Orion in current (dull boring grey) livery only?

What about the classic white/grey scheme?
The only reference pic I could find up to now is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P-3B_RNZ..._RAAF_1983.jpeg
but it isn't too useful...

I'd love to do the older scheme (even for FSX, if you'd force me to...) - and I wonder if anyone could point me to some more visual references... rolleyes.gif

I did a dance with this girl before:

Markus.

Love that Canada scheme, has a certain retro look about it! I'm sure someone has some photos of the old RNZAF scheme Markus.

I kind of like the current "all over grey" paint scheme. Looking at the sky outside, these days, it makes the Orion positively *stealthy*! Anyway, it matches my hair laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Ahh yes the Orion....I vomited in the back of one Her Majesty's Aircraft after a large lunch and doing low G arcs over the Hauraki Gulf haha. Guess that will teach me for claiming I don't get airsick (and standing right at the back for maximum effect)

Wo-hoooo! This looks awesome!
How could I miss it?

Presuming that all Orions in this classic livery were assigned to No. 5 Sq., it seems like there's nothing I could add to...

Thanks for pointing me to it, folks!

Cheers,
Markus.
