The AussieX stuff has been installed, and has been great for what has been released, and I think they've started on making one for the PNW.
So looking at NZ, I think it will go the same way, to be honest. Outside of this forum, is there much of a buzz for VLC? I can't say I've seen it mentioned anywhere else, yet there are already stirrings in a number of forums about the ORBx NZ.
I would find it really sad to see the NZ developers losing out over their own country, but I think it will be a hard decision for a few. I like what I've seen from VLC - even recognising Cramner Square in Christchurch (had to look to see if it was Latimer
I haven't bought the Auckland, Wellington or a number of sceneries that are in NZ, especially not the FSX ones (I still fly primarily in fs9), but it's something I want to invest in in the future, when I have a computer to do these things justice, my computer is finally doing that in FS9.
At the end of the day, I think unless more people here about VLC, then people are going to know NZ in FS as Orbx.
