Thanks for the "heads-up", Markus ... I wonder how many of these will work in FSX?

What a nice aircraft to fly!

"Currawong" textures already applied - thanks, Steven!

As far as I can see, ZK-RMH / NZ3009 in its 1998 camo still waits for repainting.

I'd love to take over this job!
One question on the colours to be used:
I presume FS34079 Dark Green and 30118 Dark Earth to be correct?

Tell you what guys...what I'd love to see is some RNZAF repaints....the 14/15 sqn paint scheme from the pacific theatre was pretty unique with the crazy stripes...

I'd do it myself but I don'y have FS9...

Crazy stripes?

You mean those diagonal white stripes of 15 Sq?

Looks very interesting!
Just took a look into the paint kit:
Very nicely done with a high resolution, so those transversal stripes won't show up jagged - I'll give it a try!

Does anyone know if the mapping of the FSX model is the same?
If so, I'd release the templates - once they're done - in 2048x2048 res too, so anyone could take over to finish the FSX job...

Looking foreward to this one! New_Zealand_etc.gif

Cheers,
Markus.

Exactly! biggrin.gif

There were apparently a few friendly fire incidents over Guadalcanal involving US Corsairs so they shrunk the red spot in the roundel down to a small (1 inch) circle, and added stripes, so it wouldn't happen again...

Yeah, thanks Paul - got it that time. There were two options there and I think I was choosing the wrong one.

I opened up the specific folder for the plane rather than just choosing the download option offered under it's name.

All cool now... biggrin.gif
