The 787 finally passed its wing structural test. The wing tips were bent up 25 ft from the normal position.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

haha I was explaining the wing wobble to my girlfriend on our recent trip- She was a bit concerned at the wings moving (probably only 0.5-1m at the tip)... I should forward her this pic.....pretty extreme bending there!

Tim , Don,t mention this to your girl friend , they keep yanking flexing them more and more till they snap ! ... One well known fact is wings don,t fall off - they fall up
