English version is out now for download, yes it does have SF but its just the same as the one used for DCS which is a newer improved version of the copy protection and much better than what was used with FC1.0.

I've re-installed LOMAC on my Win7 system ... will add Black Shark next .. by then I should be ready for FC2 winkyy.gif

It's been so long I've forgotten all the LOMAC key commands! Back to RTFM.

I know how you feel. It *really annoys me* too. However - I got conned into installing Black Shark (it was a present, so I "had to" do it) ... so I have that Starforce muck on my system already. So far no ill effects, but I hate it all the same.

formatted my hard drive after installing lockon because of starforce that was a few years ago, luckily havent had anyone trying to reinstall it on my machine laugh.gif

wouldnt that be horrible, get home from work and find someone playing lockon on your computer surrender.gif still cant complain, was an awesome game, might look into getting the 2.0 and installing on the older machine out back, disconnecting it from the network just in case it tries to creep over to my pc. (in fact id have to say starforce, goes in the same group as windows ME and Norton AV for software annoyances for me)

having said that, 1.0 of FC was awesome, couldnt fill my harddrives fast enough frapsing it all so no doubt 2.0 will be awesome. hope one of you guys does a review for us all.

I only had the basic LOMAC - no Starforce on that one. I was pretty cr*p at it ... but saw some amazing movies made by people that appeared to be able to fly it!

It used to look great. After just reinstalling it, I see how much it's dated. I've got so used to the amazing graphics in FSX (+ endless add-ons). Hope the GFX in FC2 are better!

EDIT: Downloaded and installed (no issues) ... and a few test flights flown. Graphics are great. The Su-27 is familiar territory, but the Su-25 ... eeek!!! I'm going to have to RTFM on that one!!

Yeah the SU25T has an advanced flight model and it can be a real pig to fly BTW the version of Star Force for Black Shark and FC2 is newer than the one for FC1.0 and it is much better than the older version. Still waiting for a patch for FC2.0 to work in MP with DCS. pirate.gif I'm going to get the disc version of FC2.0 so waiting patiently for it to be released.
