Aerosoft do 27

2 questions , Do any of you know what the Aerosoft Do27 is like. And, do you know if there is a GAF Nomad around for FSX or 2004....long or short nose will do.
Seem to remember a Nomad for 98 or 2000, but thats well over.
Anyway, just thought I'd check before jumping into another purchase.

I had the Do-27 in FS9 and it was one of the best for that sim (graphics, interesting failure function, FDE etc) but in FSX (I haven tried it yet) I have heard it is a huge FPS hog...

Thanks Paul....Im going through the whole"upgrade or not thing", i might have a look at it anyway, as FS9 runs real well on my machine.

I really could recommend the good old Do 27. But treat her like a lady, like an old lady. Repairing the machine and structure will take up to 40 minutes.

And if you see some spots on the window in cockpit, don't think that are flies. It's oil. Then you had made one ore more mistakes. But you'll love that nice plane when you've learned to fly it.

Hans, thank you very much.....so i guess if my grandmother was a plane....then this is how the Dornier must be treated.......good advise.....and by the way Hans....Wecome to the forum, you will find some good people here....cheers
