Hey guys here is a few pics from the upcoming falcon, its called dark falcon or something.

Among the different implementations is worth remembering:

Three theaters (Korea, Balkans n Aegean)
Dynamic Weather
Dynamic temperature and pressure area
Turbulence
New flight model
New pyhsical model
New fuel management
Panel fault system and test fully functional
Cockpit only 3D version
Pointing system on the helmet
Sniper Pod XR
Campaign editor revisted
Recon screen revisted

-DX9 conversion
-new lights and shaders
-the most sofisticated FMs seen in a flightsim to date
-some new airbases
-a fully working 6DOF 3dpit for the F-16
-lots of new 3d models
-new terrain engine

The intention 'to release a version without CTD (crash to desktop - return to the desktop) and bugs and a multiplayer solid as a rock. What you have in hand, and 'simulator light years away from anything on the market and do not want to hurry, get him out ahead of time as the opposite, and' was made by Microprose (yes, some developers / coders are the same as Microprose) at time of Falcon 4.0.[/quote]

Looks quite good.

Says this topic doesn't exist <?>. Maybe I have to be a member/logged in?

Is this Freefalcon5? I just can't get FF5 to work on my Win7 GTS 260 setup. Gets further than it used to, but the display corrupts after a minute or so.

Confusing as ever! Fighter Ops, OpenFalcon, Benchmark Sims, Redviper, Freefalcon, Allied Force .... arrrrrgh!

Like so many ex-Falcon users, I wish we could put all those devs into one hangar and beat them all over their heads with a cricket bat till they come up with ONE DECENT product laugh.gif Hell, I'd even PAY for it! I coughed up for AF, hoping a bit of a cash injection may clear the logjam ... but no sad.gif

As regards, FF5, I've trolled the forum for fixes (thanks). All I see is black magic - all sorts of wacky ideas but no real solution ... yet.

Open Falcon, BMS, Redviper and Free Falcon are all free mods for F4, Allied Forces is a payware mod that does not require F4 cd to work and is the most stable version. FighterOps is a separate sim in development that was originally going to be a F4 mod like Allied Forces called OIR but later they changed their mind and decided to go with a new sim with Gloabl map. Redviper was Free Falcon 4 which was a mod which was made by FF and RV. They have since split which is why FF5 does not have the cool features that RV/FF4 had.
