Hi Robin

I have struck a problem with my four Godzone discs in that none of them are reading, at all. They all have different degrees of scratches, however I've cleaned them up and tried on 3 PCs to open the disc to no avail. In most cases they lock up Windows Explorer until I eject the disc.

I know they are old sceneries now but I find it strange that all four are the same when other (more scratched) discs read fine on my PC. Are you aware of any issues with the discs?

It's no real drama if not fixable but thought I would raise the question smile.gif

This is very common with burnt CDs, at the time the technology was marketed as archival, but it didn't really turn out that way. I suspect that it may vary based on what sort of drive burnt it, but I would think that any one set of old Godzone would have been burnt on the same drive. I've just done a check and only one of my four backups works. Still, this scenery is long-obsolete (since none of the photo scenery actually aligns with the FS2004 or FSX meshes) and the best of it has been redone, it has been out of print for quite some time.

Thanks Robin, I'll was inspired by Waka's use of the scenery in his Cessna screenshots. I'll stop scrubbing them with toothpaste now!
