Hello all

Is there any stores or NZ online stores that have a good range of FSX software?

Cannot seem to find any

Cheers

You won't find much -- the limited market means that by the time you add shipping and GST, the price gets too high compared with individual imports -- and these days downloads are more common anyway.
VRConcepts has some addons.

The good old days or boxed software and printed manuals are over. Coming from a graphic design/print background, I know just how expensive it is to produce a manual/booklet. As Robin says ... after you add postage to that .. sad.gif

So ... most add-ons now don't really come with anything other than what's on the CD/DVD .. so you may as well just download the thing(s). I've bought around half a dozen this way - it's quick and (relatively) easy. Also, there are no "mysterious" parcels arriving in the post that you have to explain to *HER* laugh.gif

I used to enjoy the sight of all my boxes/add-ons sitting on the shelf, but who am I trying to impress?

I think it is more satisfying to have a solid object when you buy something rather than 1's and 0's

Doesn't bother me one bit (for simming) ... the only "solid" object I'd dearly love to own would be a real plane laugh.gif

I know the Harvey Normans in Belfast here in Chrictchurch was selling some FS addons the last time I was in there, though they were older releases and still pretty pricey.

Thank you all for your comments

I have bought online and also in person with Robin, but the post here is re PMDG aircraft, correct me if I am wrong but if the 747 has a hard copy manual I would prefer that.
Can anyone confirm that?

The PMDG 747 both FS9 and FSX are only printable manuals from the download , less comprehensive the LD767 maybe , 3 manuals to the 2 for the 74 .

you can buy the manuals printed from pmdg (for md-11 only) or if you buy the boxed product from say aerosoft you get the manual printed in the box (not sure if it is the full manual or not) hope that helps a little
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
