Hum, Ian has no desert like I do in NZ. Looks great scenery. I have no fps trouble with the Saab to report, and she is nice smooth flight and not twitchy at all.

Anyone can change how NZ looks or any other place in the world with a little imagination.

It took me about 30 minutes to make my NZ green.

Cheers
Ian

Im guessing that part of the "trick" is a wonderful peice of payware by Ruud Faber, called "FScene 4X".
Comes with installers for both FS9 and FSX.
Am i far off the mark Ian,....... ?????

ANZ Link ZK-NLS now available as a repaint:

http://www.premaircraft.com/repaintcorner3/texture.airnz.zip

Not sure if it will make it into my hangar with those strange fuselage windows. Also, the cockpit windows look much too large.

As a comparison,....... heres another 2 different Saab-340 models for FS9,..........

The payware Flight Factory Simulations Saab-340 representing ZK-NLE

and the freeware Mike Stone Saab-340 representing ZK-FXD

Make up your own mind about which of the 3 has the best looking windows.
I happen to like all 3 of them, and each one has its own good points..............

Note that the two lines are reversed in the one below

But none of them look like the colour scheme of the Photo of ZK-NLS as it was in 1999

If the "lines" you are referring to are the green and blue "Waves", .... yes, i had noticed they are pointing the wrong way.
It could simply be an error on the part of whoever painted it, or it could be something to do with the blank paint-kit for the model.
If you are that worried about it,..... perhaps you should e-mail the person that did the paint , and let them know................

As far as i know, there are no paints for the early Air NZ Link livery available for any flyable Saab-340 model.
I have, however, seen somewhere an early Link paint for the FSPainter AI model.
If you favour the early Air NZ Link livery, there are early liveries avaialable for the Metro-3, and the EMB-110 Bandierante, and i do remember seeing one somewhere for an ATR.

According to a PAD member, a reworked Saab 340 with adjusted windows is in the making.

If the reworked one is of the AirNZ one I hope they get the stripes on both sides right as in the one already done shown in the above pic the two stripes on the right side are correct but on the left side have been put on in reverse.

I reckon the old FS9 (?) FFG freeware Saab 340 isnt to bad either,..works nice in FSX too...personally I think the FFG Saab is the only one that captured the unique shape of the saabs nose and if the nose aint right the whole jobby looks wrong :-)..just my opinion !

I have made them aware of the glitch, so let's wait and see.

That's true! I think it is originally for FS2002 and was only updated for FS2004. However, I have hardly seen any liveries for the FS2004 one and the repaints for the FS2002 model do not work on the FS2004 one with me for some strange reason.

Yeah,...... you are right,........... i never checked that..........
Seeing as how they were hosted on Avsim,.... must be just more of the files that were lost during the hack.

Have you uploaded that repaint? I have always been looking for an Air NZ FFG saab repaint (the model with the wingview!)

I must say that the old scheme brings back memories (especially of the Banderantie)

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.
