You will find a few Nelsonians here on NZFF. I am not from Nelson but I went to college there and did most of my flight training there as well. I must have lived there nearly 7 years but not any more, wish I could go back though

I now live in Blenheim but I done my flight training in Nelson back in the early 1950s.
Those days Nelson aeroclub had 2 Tigermoths 2 Austers and a de Havilland DH.84 Dragon

I was until about 5 years ago had a medical problem so relinquished my membership but I live just across the road from the Omaka aerodrome about 2 minutes walk.

Lived in Nelson for a while, firstly as an instructor at the Nelson Aviation College and then flying for Flight Corp back in the days of 3 PA31's and 2 Seneca's.
