Just wondering who out there is from Nelson. blink.gif
Helicopters can't actually fly. Their just so ugly that the world repels them. :)

You will find a few Nelsonians here on NZFF. I am not from Nelson but I went to college there and did most of my flight training there as well. I must have lived there nearly 7 years but not any more, wish I could go back though sad.gif

I now live in Blenheim but I done my flight training in Nelson back in the early 1950s.
Those days Nelson aeroclub had 2 Tigermoths 2 Austers and a de Havilland DH.84 Dragon

Now the Nelson Aero club has a mixture of C150 and C172 smile.gif
dbcunnz are you a member of the aero club at Omaka?

I was until about 5 years ago had a medical problem so relinquished my membership but I live just across the road from the Omaka aerodrome about 2 minutes walk.

Lived in Nelson for a while, firstly as an instructor at the Nelson Aviation College and then flying for Flight Corp back in the days of 3 PA31's and 2 Seneca's.

My list is starting to grow.
Its amazing how flight simulator opens your eyes to not only the world but also your own doorstep!
