Not sure if it was in a Thunderchief, but last night on 3 news, they had a story about a USAF pilot that shot down a North Vietnamese pilot during the war, with their dog fight recreation being featured on a Discovery Channel documentary. The Vietnamese pilot managed to eject to safety, and they were just reunited on American soil all these years later- which was quite interesting to watch, and apparently they have written a book together called 'My Enemy, My Friend' which sounds like a very interesting read!
