My own repaints

Hey guys, was just mucking round on a lazy sunday and figured id make a few repaints of some of the default fsx aircraft (try to anyways) but i can't open the texture files in photoshop to have a play with them. I know there is that abacus program around that can open them but i know photo shop (or at least have a girlfriend that does) so wanted to use that to edit them. Any idea's on how i can do this?

I find Paint.net opens them fine. Also any good side on photos of the iroquois would be great. and also details and stuff. anything handy PM me.
