We've finally caught up with the rest of the IL2 world here in New Zealand (Us poor isolated people always miss out on the 'new stuff'), venturing into the modded version of IL2, which brings breath-taking new maps and new aircraft to fly (4 Engine Bombers!).

Heres a few pics from our first flight:

Finally finished downloading and installing the unified mod,(over 1GB) ohmy.gif , just starting to have a play around, so far I'm finding I'm, gettting better frame rates and stability with better graphics and sounds smile.gif
Looking forward to this weekends online game using this modded version. Especially the 4 engine bombers icon_twisted.gif

Hopefully my new graphics card arrives before then to.

Interestingly my set up seems to run sweeter with the mod - interesting as it packs more visual effects and sounds into the game.

See you on Friday / Sunday, Kahu!
