Todays travels took me to Krakow, Poland, so I managed to get a morning in with the camera at the airport. Caught a few less common carriers there, so here are the shots:-

Firstly Air Cairo which was in on a charter flight to Hurghada, Egypt, with one of its four A320-200s

and an ATR42 of EuroLOT (Poland)

another A320, this time Air Lingus from Dublin:-

and a BaE146 of Eurowings, a part of Lufthansa. Although it operates 15 146s now, it is going to replace them with CRJ 900 by 2010. Last chance to photo!!

Smooth landings!

The old 146 is getting to be a fast dying breed , I recall the early design conception with full length UC trunk fairings to today's almost norm , bit like a C141 ...oooP's ... they dead and buried .. bloody pity !

And one more.....Jetfly Aviation Socate TBM 700 taxying at Krakow airport:-

Despite my user name, I am not always a happytraveller, as airports are now far from pleasant. Record was 19 different countries in a year, both for business and pleasure. Far too many hours spent shuttling around!!

smooth landings.

That's a beautiful looking plane. If it's not too much of a personal question, what do you do that requires so much travel?

I work in tourism, so get to travel a lot. Next flight tomorrow from Warsaw airport, so I will have the camera ready and go there a bit ahead of time. To finish, another photo, this time a Ryanair 737 departing for Dublin:-

smooth landings.
