I decided on Albatross as I'd recently been down to Dunedin and seen the real thing, and I think they are pretty cool. They also suit my flight simming style. Like an Albatross, I live in New Zealand. But, also like one, I spend most of my time flying away from home! But I always come home eventually! laugh.gif

Well I'm not addicted to alcohol, but addicted to Yaks, especially the -52.

Mines pretty simple... Alfa - as in Alfa Romeo, since I'm an Alfaholic. Shark - an age old nickname for me for two reasons, I have very strong teeth and use them as tools when needed (never get caught short with the wrong spanner), and the fact I drink like a fish cheers1.gif I'm sure Snowman recalls my 2-3am pie runs lol

Nice car´s cheers1.gif

Well to cut a long story short my grandad use to fly beaufighters for the R.A.F during WWII.
He was more into the night fighting side of things and from memory shot down two ju-88's and he-111's.

Way back when Trademe started I needed a logon, Kids were watching Spongebob. Hey presto.

Later on for another logon, I needed to include numerical, Bell 206 being my all time fav chopper (and wedding car way back quite a few years ago)

So evolved Spongbob206.

Born in the "Naki" - lived there for 20 years before moving to Auckland for another 20 (with a short stint in Palmy and Sydney) and now in Tauranga. My real life flying years were in the Naki - hopefully it wil be resurrected here in the Bay. Bit confusing since I live in Tauranga and my forum name is Naki - thought about changing it but never got around to it.

Funny the first XI hockey coach at my hockey club is nicknamed Naki.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Mine's self explanatory too - the great Kiwi / Aussie name shortening trick : Murray - Muzza, Garry - Gazza, Sharon - Shazza, and Barry - Bazza.

Used it on most of my other forums etc but have had to explain it a few times overseeas. Mates started calling me this about 20 years ago and it seems to have
stuck, despite my wife's thoughts on the matter.... angry.gif

I never saw this topic, mine is Njbb1995, Njbb are my initials (Nicholas James Balfour Blakiston) and 1995 was the year I was born. Could a mod change my first n to a capital N?

Well... I'd just joined the NZ Cadet Forces, Air Training Core, and my rank was Basic CDT (Cadet)-(Now Proficiency tongue.gif). We have to call each other by our last names, and my last name is Wootton, but to be honest I don't really like my last name tongue.gif

But my first name is Dan, so 'CDT' and 'DAN' formed to make CDTDAN smile.gif it sounds cooler tongue.gif
