Consilidated Catalina now released , i was a little hesitant , did it have the cold engine that it displays many times at airshows or even when its warm

OH , was i impressed , i specific,y chose the dutch PBY since she is the closet to the one owned by The Catalina Club Association in New Zealand

With the typical sounds .. to most of you that never herd a Catalina , its exactly like the DC-3 , the humbling drone as it climbs out or touring the cities

For those who possibly got a ride in at the last Wigram airshow , I no of one good friend heading to Ardmore from Christchurch just for a flight in it .

He asked me if I had a Cat , i did but nothing like this one , so guess the selling point for me , guess ill see him shortly for his test flight smile.gif

Now for my first water landing , the free NZReal Tekapo , i was looking after the amphibian , keep her to fresh water for a start .

The cockpit , so far every thing works .. i do like the left /right mouse button control for the switchs .

A single engine takeoff as yet is a failure , recon take take a lotta fuel out , she'd come unstuck .

i am sure marsbar has you wrapped around your little finger!!! it is a great time for us fsxers, plenty of models coming out!!! again i thank you sir for your time and effort in reviewing these wonderful add -ons for us all, you must have a problem though, you will be needing new realestate for your hangers with all the aircraft you are getting!!!

Ian, I'm admiring the scenery as much as the planes.
What sceneries do you use (particularly Christchurch/Canterbury)?
