WELKAM TU NORFUK AILEN.
Welcome to Norfolk Island International Airport.
Norfolk Island is a beautiful and popular holiday destination in the Pacific Ocean, between New Zealand and Australia.
Norfolk Air has scheduled flights to and from both Australia and New Zealand to the Island, and the airport is also used as a stepping stone for International GA flights. This scenery is a total ground-up rebuild of my old YSNF scenery, and as such, requires you delete my older scenery totally from the sim before installing this one. Scenery also contains the landclass fix for Norfolk, which turns Microsoft's erronous "Water" island into an island with actual land.

This scenery is a HUGE improvement over my old one from a couple of years ago.

Just uploaded to Avsim, and should be avaialable for download in a few hours time.

A few quick random pics.................

Bob, (redda03 here on NZFF) has a large number of my FS9 sceneries sucessfully running in FSX.
Maybe you should talk to him.................

Im building a new computer this week, so sometime soon, i will be building for FSX.
I will still build for FS9 as well though.

I dunno really,..............
I had it when it first came out ( pre SP1 and SP2), and i wasnt that thrilled with it, hence the fact i ditched it.
I will still have FS9 as well, as i just cant give up the years of payware sceneries and aircraft ive collected for it since November 2003.
Now i have to start all over again with FSX..............................

I have done the same thing just I didn't have any Payware at the time and I didn't really think about having to start over.

Running several of Lawrie's sceneries in FSX and they work well once you get all the necessary scenery/texture files from Avsim and remove a couple of unecessaries. thumbup1.gif

Can't wait to see you FSX scnery Lawrie clapping.gif

Another awesome scenery thanks Lawrie. Where is the tower located by the way?
What specs have you decided on for your new computer?

Ah well that explains that thanks. I just noticed that there were some tower scenery files required to be downloaded for the scenery yet I could not see one anywhere.
Cheers

Very nice. Should make FS9 sing! You need a Cray to get FSX to work maxed out.
