Nice work Mike - you're certainly doing justice to the project! Looking out my windows at work I can attest to how accurate your scenery looks and the ground tile has come out superb! And yes, I have lost weight in the New Year so skinnier controllers would be appreciated! biggrin.gif

As a side note, I had an ex-Waikato Aero Club instructor (who is now flying for Eagle) over for a play on my home cockpit. He was most impressed by your old FS9 beta scenery so this should have him lying stunned on the floor! Just let me know if you want or need another tour around the airfield, but it will have to be this year! I've been promoted to Auckland Oceanic Radar, so fingers crossed this will be my last year in Hamilton Tower!

Keep up the great work mate!
Mat

hamilton hasn't changed much since i worked there in 2000, had the distenction of dispatching the first commercial flight of the new mellinium, and it rained!!! enjoyed my time in hamilton was great. will be getting this one as soon as the financial controler releases my allowance for the year!!!
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

This is looking AMAZING, will happily pay for scenery like this, considering I've seen a lot of payware with half this quality and effort. Keep up the good work man.

heres a link to some screen shots ,this is still some way off but there is alot more involved now with about 8000sq km of photoreal at 2.5m and a photoreal city and landmarks to finish off as you can see in the topic above ,this project is one that i dont want to go half ass on so im taking my time getting it right with detail coming out your ears and performance to boot ,
plus you will be able to do a hell of alot with a wide range of aircraft around the Waikato and see modeled landmarks like the temple /milk factory/huntly powers station ,add all this to the airport and you have one hell of a addon .. winkyy.gif

I have no eta on it at the moment but i wouldnt think to far when im working on it pretty much full time ...

WOW! That looks awesome Mike!
So have you finished the airport then?
I guess the city would take ages and there must be a temptation to keep adding and adding and adding...
Can't wait - hopefully it will be finished in the next couple of months cause that's when I start my flying training down here.
Have you got any screenshots of the CTC area of the airport?

I only started this project about 4-5 months ago for FSX "total rebuild ", im the only modeller building a city +airport and covering 8800sq km of photoreal area with watermasks reprojecting and so on ,lucky ive got the help of Ian Warren who is doing the other huge job of putting every single tree in and house "AGN" ,
There are things i must do to ensure this product will be at its highest quality so time is not something im to worryed about, id rather have it perfect for the users of it ..
Im still looking at a good few months ,sad for those needing it right now but i will do my best to get it out as soon as its ready ..

Take the time and do it so you are happy with it, from what I've seen here it WILL be well worth it! let know when released and details I'm in for sure.
