Fletcher Update

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby deaneb » Mon Mar 30, 2009 7:27 pm

I have started to de-modify my Fletcher model to reflect an older 950 series, typical of the 1970's and ealy 80's. Main changes are No aileron end plates and vortex generators, diffent cowl and no modern devices such as GPS, or even mud flaps. Paint schemes will include main opertors of the period - James Aviation, Robertson Air Service, Fieldair and Wanganui Aero Work. Here is progress to date, with just the forward cowl and intake left to finish off.

Unfortunately I have got lots of work (i.e my job) to do at the moment as its a very busy time for us, so it will be a few weeks before I'll be back onto this.

How is progress on the 950 model Deane? Looking forward to it being released so my WAW paints can be a bit more accurate, and it will allow me to do an authentic paint of my own Fletcher, ZK-CBG (which was a 950 with James).

Zac - they are actually finished now (and were before xmas) but i need to upload them in Beta form to be tested before general release. Been really busy with work stuff, so have not thought much about FS for a while and when I have I've been plodding away at the Cresco and ignoring the Fletchers !! I will endeavour to get them sorted in Beta form in the next few days, but no promises ok. Always takes a lot of stuffing around to get them packaged and sorted. Cheers Deane

I too would love to help in testing. I only have FS9 though, so hopefully that's no problem.
