A pretty basic piece of work - almost identical to a Taylorcraft Auster 5 I already have. Don't think this ones a keeper - well below payware standard.

Yea I agree (i hadnt tried it until after I posted the above) ..I guess if really want a good aircaft you have to pay for it ..although the odd good freeware one comes along......

Yep; a real pity, indeed. Might do as 1950s retro AI though (it being a very popular a/c back then).

Another recent ex-payware "put out to grass" was the Alphasim Cessna 170B. It looks nice, flies well, but again has no 2D panel
and an almost cartoonish VC one. Guess the high standard of later payware stuff has spoiled us.

What standard is being experienced in the FSX freeware...?
