C130 X AP, Radio and Nav Problem - lock up

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Trev » Sun Mar 08, 2009 9:42 pm

Has anybody else who uses the Captain Sim / Just Flight C130 X had any problems with the Auto pilot or the radios and nav button locking up after about 15 minutes of flying.
You can hearing the clicking when you click on the buttons but nothing changes in the displays.

Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Thanks
Trev

It could be an install issue. I assume that you have done a reinstall?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Hi,

I have had the same problem. it only happens on your second flight.
reboot your machine and all will be ok for the next flight. Not sure why, have asked capt Sim, no response yet.

I found the solution to the Autopilot and radio failure on the unofficial Cpt Sim forum.
pushing 'Ctrl E' fixes ithem when they fail.

Thanks! Interesting ... as isn't that "auto engine restart" or something? So it must be restarting some systems that have inadvertently got shut down <???>.
