Waiouru Military Airfield, NZRU.

Welcome to Waiouru Military Airfield. The Airfield is run by the New Zealand Army, and is situated in the central North Island of New Zealand.
The scenery also contains a bonus of the Waiouru Live Firing Range Airstrip (N145), that is located not far from NZRU, on the foothills of Mount Ruapehu.
The scenery was also designed to work with the updated RNZAF AI package, filename rnzafa11.zip, by Charl Du Toit.
There is a traffic file done by Charl Du Toit included in the scenery, using C130s and Helicopters from the package.
You will need this AI package installed ot see the aircraft. The AI package is freely available from avsim.com.
The sceneries depict a military exercise taking place.........

Nice i used to love using Micks objects for army themes ,Ive gone past this spot many a times in the real world and there is only alittle private airfield on that side of the road ,the real runway and helipads are in the base itself though under the top secret info buzz ..

If it weren't for the helicopters it looks like Triad in 84 with the exception that the sky is quiet.
