I got this in my [only] screenshot comp win wacko.gif tongue.gif ... It's pretty slick, but I don't use it as much as I ought to!!! I was going to do a full review, but there wasn't much I could add!

Ive had a go at the 2004 version and it was pretty cool ,i think you set up a airline and run it etc,
i did a take of and because i didnt put the flaps up or gear they both got stuck ,this was the addon doing it ,then the passengers started screaming and some meter was going nuts telling me everyone was in a panic ,not that i didnt guess that by then ,so i turned a movie on for them and they settled down till,,short story i crashed ..
I thought it was pretty good then and being years later it should be just as good ,id say you would soon get sick of it ?

For what it does, it's good. It teaches you to fly to pretty strict limits. The eye-candy/sounds are OK at first ... but then the novelty wears off!

I think I prefer something like FS Flying School though - that may teach you more accuracy in flying in general.

it depends on what you want, if you want a program that add failures at random without you knowing what will fail, an scoring system for your flying skills, and the feel of real passengers in the back then you can't go wrong, i use FSpassengersX for every flight i do (excpt for reviews) and love it, you can even do sight seeing tours, and aerobatic thrill rides, apparently if you get too rough with the aerobatics, you get a rather realistic throwing up sound!!!

it teaches you to fly within your aircraft specs, and also make you think about the consequences of your flying, personally i don't know how you can get a full 747 load of passengers to fly out of baghdad, every flight i have had out of there i have been shot down and made an emergency landing, and the passengers were pissed because they crash landed, war zone people!!! tongue.gif

i recommend this. can do up a proper review for it this weekend if i get time if you are intrested

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
