Not detailed enough for your requirements, but there's a couple of distant shots of the aircraft NZ3631 at:

Yep... that's cos I'm a Newbie looking for the paint job.
I haven't seen the finished paint file yet so I figured Hamish might be still working on it.
Post a link if it's available.
I see that the RNZAF DC6s led a very interesting life:

There's aversion on FlightSim.Com ... rnzafdc6.zip (by Jens Kristensen repainted by Hamish Harvey) ... requires dc6_v20.zip
I haveonly. I'll give it a go and see what happens
I see there's anspecific base file: dc6_v20x.zip

Well you guys have just made my day... just what I was looking for. And just as Creator 2003 said, "someone will point you in the right direction real soon." I must admit I wasn't expecting the paint job to turn up quite so quickly, but here it is already. Thanks to all you who've had a hand in tracking it down and putting it up for distribution, thanks Adamski . This forum is now one of my favourite bookmarks. BTW I once kicked the tyres on NZ3631, but I wasn't qualified at the time to pour the gas, hence my interest in the paint scheme. Never thought I'd have the opportunity of actually flying it someday, well its sister ship 3632 anyway. Thanks for the repaint Jens and Hamish... if you're still about.Fan of: FSX, Carenado Cessnas, Orbx FTX, & VLC.

I'll add my welcome!![]()
Great to hear you like the DC-6. I'm totally in love with the Warbirds DC-3 (real and FS) so it's understandable that I'd like this one too. Must have been an awesome aircraft to see up close and personal.
I helped out for a while (back in the UK) with restoring an old Britannia ... that was quite something too. I'm just old enough to remember one flying - what a sound!!! I haven't been able to find a halfdecent Britannia for FSX.

Adam,
JBK who produced this DC-6 also produced the Britannia about the same time. If you haven't seen it:

Did the JF one come out?
I see PMDG are at it ... take a look at those screenshots!!! AVSIM. Unbelievable!
