My sincerest thanks to Charl, Alex, Paul (Naki), Barry (Bazza), Derek (Spongebob 206), and all the NZFF members for your kind thoughts during my time in hospital, and for the absolutely fabulous book, "NAC, The Illustrated History of New Zealand National Airways Corporation, 1947-1978".

What an absolute treasure this book is,........... covering both my favourite period of New Zealand Aviation, and my love for old propliners. biggrin.gif smile.gif
My wife, Raewyn, also sends her thanks for thinking of me during this time. clapping.gif
I am back at home now, resting for the next few weeks before returning to the "real world" ( ie" WORK) . pirate.gif

Glad you're back again Lawrie haven't had a new airfield for weeks................. ohmy.gif

I'm sure the cover picture of your new book (well picked Paul !!) is the one I was flying in when the hosty dumped a hot coffee into my
goolies - much to my wife's amusement. NAC were right into public relations in those days and I was given a dry-cleaning voucher - never
had any more children though.... laugh.gif

Stay well.

Geeze; I go away on holidays for several weeks and you go and get yourself sick.

Speedy recovery, my friend. thumbup1.gif

(And yes; Richard Waugh did a corker of a job on that history. But I'm a DC-3 nut, anyway clapping.gif )
