The boys flew really well and it did take a few clever moves to get the aircraft in that spot due to restricted airspace behind Wigram so we only ettempted it once by way of a figure of a tight figure of 8 combined with a lot of talking and some vigorous hand signals.
The formation was quite significant as Grahams Mustang is painted in 3 Squadron Canterbury colours and not much needs to be said regarding the Harvard so we only ettempted it once by way of a figure of
The support given by the RNZAF was first class and it is not that common to see their aircraft in formation with civilian aircraft but they could see the benefit in getting such a photo and they are very happy with the result.
Have written one story on the open day for an NZ based magazine and supplied photos to a UK based magazine and am looking at a feature covering Harvrad 15 so photos from this point might be a bit slow in coming but due to so many emails regarding the photos I thought it best a few are posted.
