Good on you james S*** hot.
We kept the flight under our hats in case it didnt work out but what a great pair of aircraft to have on your wing during the farewell at Wigram.
The support from the RNZAF has been great and flying with RNZAF aircraft when you are in a civie aircraft is next to impossible sometimes but we got there in the end.

Our day started bad with low cloud keeping us out of WIgram so we stopped off at Ivan Campbells place for a while and were really under pressure when we got to Wigram.

An enjoyable day, pretty busy for us as we flew three times and sorry i didnt kget more time Ian but just one of those days due to a bad start.

The day is coming were Air 2 Air photography and ground 2 air will need to be split as it leads to a really busy day.

Just downloading some photos now so hopefully we got the Air 2 Air results we were after.

I got quite a few shots too, have to sort through and get rid of the rubbish/blurry ones. Mind if I post them in this thread too?

Day s shooting equalled the combat sorties of WWII ...Life on the field was hot , dusty and very busy

Thanx to James , he caught the secret weapon , the twin .3 browning gun cameras and the gunner Gav reloading , looking forward to your gun camera footage cool.gif

Cheers for posting your shots Leo - looks like you guys had a scorcher of a day down there, you can actually see the heat shimmer coming off that dry dusty ground in quite a few of those shots!

What sort of temperature was recorded at the show? Must have been a killer standing in the crowd on the tarmac as I was certainly sweating heavily up in Auckland with a nice sea breeze blowing off the Hauraki as I was painting the house! Bottled water must have been selling like hot cakes today laugh.gif

I'd rather you stick them in a new topic Peppermint- this thread already has quite a few images over the average amount we usually see posted, so it would take users with slower connections much longer than usual download the page.

Yeah I'll put them in a new thread, saw there was 2 already so a 3rd won't hurt. Just have to get them to a lower file size than 1mb each...

Love the shots of the 757 display - have seen it many times before but it still drops my jaw every time!
