How does this one compare to the Alphasim version, do you think?
My first encounter with the Mirage was at a Wigram airshow maybe 83 or 84 , corner of my eye ( RADAR) caught one of two Delta's ripping in from the south west .... directly over the field with a BOOM! , I think the AlphaSim model die,d and this one but with a steroid VC by compare , It looks like many designers moved on to other hangers .
The biggest problem was the install and Flight1 wrapper , whole new way of doing it , to stop piracy i guess .

This is the former Alphasim one. The developer, Mark Harper, left Alphasim last year.
The download process is straight forward. And the notes have been adjusted based on the experience of a few. Basically you register in the Skysim store to create an account (no money questions), then download it for free. When you install it the Flight1 wrapper handles the payment.
The install requires v4.5 of the Microsoft installer which you should have if you’ve kept up to date with those free updates Microsoft is alwasy pushing out. Links are provided in case you don’t have it. The install is in three parts so it may seem like it is looping but it is just going through the process three times — no worries.
When the smoke clears you’ll have a fantastic set of new aircraft in your FSX hanger.

I had it in my hot little hands as soon as it was released .. I downloaded to the desktop , i saved it in docs and settings the flight1 wrapper appeared , once an answer was found with the MS 4.5 installer ..... SMOKIN!
