THE MIGHTY EIGHTH

For everything about online flying around New Zealand

..............................................................................The MIGHTY EIGHTH[/b]
Multiplay in the 1940s , the United States Army Air Corp style , The two big sticks in the European theater of operations the
..........................................Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the Consolidated B-24 Liberator .
..........................................

As the group climbed out plane all over , Captians Creator2003 (Mike) and Waka (Blake) starting to form the box formation .

three box wings , a training sortie

one thing between a B17 formation and mixing with the B24 was type performance , 24 crews always adjusting throttles due to a higher cruise speed .

I told em to close the formation .. this was the best defence during raids with high enermy activity .

This is only training for MP .. phurrr .. this real time .. scary !

Absolutely brilliant, thanks guys.

Love those touch up pic's Mike, Look so realistic, Talk about being there!

Hopefully I can join you all sometime soon. Haven't done any formation flying for over 15 yrs.

Need some practice, but that will be half the fun.

Cheers

Sh!#-hot lads! Great to see some heavy formation work thumbup1.gif
Not to detract from the NZ based flavour of this site... but do y'all think you could hold formation for 5+ hours over Europe?
If ya reckon so, gimme a heads up some time... I know some people, and a certain server ninja.gif
