Deane Baunton 10 years of Bell UH-1H IROQUOIS ... your Huey , how many of you tried flying a helicopter in FS98 .wacko.gif .. .. nah This -THIS MODEL IS A TEST OF TIME
Ok, We have No3 Squadron RNZAF, cause there is 3 off us biggrin.gif , model works in FS2002 , FS2004 , FSX , 'Hueyteam' Andy can vouch for this, other side of the world ,

My Squadron mates Flight Lt Ashton , Flight Lt James and their Wingman smile.gif

Communications were very easy , thanks to Mikes ( creator2003) setup with team-speak

Spur of the moment again .. i was hoping for a flight that will exceed the RNZAF strength

I flew these for 3 years in Vietnam & didn't stop flying them til 1995...And still can't get enough of it (even in FS9)! CLICK HERE to see an FS9 Dustoff landing at Camp #4 (Afghanistan), using the Abacus UH-1H version.

It's a shame Deane's old FS98 Skyhawk didn't go as for as the Iroquios

I just started flying the Iroqouis though and its excellent! tongue.gif

Menemeth - I tried doing a RNZAF repaint for that one - but there must be something wrong with the model because the AIR FORCE writing bleeds all over the whole body dry.gif

Yep, still enjoying Deane's Huey myself- theres just something about that wedge shape and the whop-whop noise that I can't get over.

BTW Ian, you must tell me what multiplayer server you guys fly on? I'd love to join you lot for a formation flight sometime, if it's on a FS2004/FSX joint one like Inspire.

I dont have the Abacus UH-1H version , always shy of there aircraft models , many here would be pleased to hear more about your times flying Iroquois .. one helio that im always not going to forget and maybe many young ones , bit like myself recalling a Harvard .. it just gets in smile.gif

For some whacky reason, Abacus has never availed their paintkits. That's why it's always hard trying to repaint their models. HoverControl.com will be releasing one in a few weeks. Did ya'll download/install HoverControl's new Japan Coast Guard Bell 412 Fleet Package? (AWESOME!)

I think their's will be FSX only (no doubt). But i'm pretty sure that HoverControl is currently making one for FS9. I invested too much into FS9 to be making a drastic switch to FSX.

I mainly fly rotors and it's a model I keep coming back too. One of my favorites that has stood the test of time.

Since it's holiday time the boys from No3 Squadron took some time out for some fishing
