Presentation and New Caledonia scenery

Hi all !

First, I just want to appologie for my bad english, I hope to be understand


I'm Stan Chavelet, VATFrance event coordinator of VATSIM French vACC.

I live in East of France, and I know well New Caledonia and Tahiti I live
for 15 years.

I'm in collaboration with VATPAC to controlling Pacific French territory
(New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis & Futuna...). Unfortunaly for the
moment, due to the creation of VATFrance (2 years ago), I'm too busy to have
a regular ATC service on this places, but it's should come this year.

That why I looking for New Caledonia scenery and I find Lawrie Roache's beautiful work ! Thanks a lot for that.

I see you will making a lot of other New Caledonian airport, my question is to know if you will make NWWL (Lifou) soon.
My other question is to know why I have tree on Ouloup apron (I have put the AFCAD file on scenery/world folder) ?

Hi Stan! Well ... let me be the first to welcome you to NZFF! Your english is better than many Kiwis' It's certainly better than my French!!

I think you need to help me persuade Lawrie to create stuff for FSX ;-) ... it's quite annoying to see good scenery that I can't run

Hi Stan.

The tree at Ouloup is an Autogen tree that does not appear in my sim, but has in a few other peoples sims as well.
I made a custom exclude file to remove the tree for those that have the problem.
PM me with your e-mail address, and i will send the exclude files to you.

NWWL Lifou isnt on my New Caledonia list, as i havnt got any pictures of the place that i can build from.
I cant even get a decent sattelite shot from Google for it. The pic on Google is all blurry and out of focus.

Currently working on NWWK Koumac for New Caledonia.
Also working on NFNA Nausori Intl., Suva, Fiji, and NCRG Rarotonga Intl, Cook Islands.

The NCRG scenery is being built to fit the RBE / SimPilot Xpereience Cook Islands Scenery (payware), so i dont know how it will look in default FS9, or with any other mesh installed for the Cook Islands.
