Ardmore Open Day Snaps

A separate section for photographers to upload and comment on everything from amateur plane spotting images to professional air to air shots.

Like quite a few other NZFF'ers, I went down to Ardy yesterday to have a close up look at the WB's and watch the aerobatics - was a great day for viewing the planes, not so good for photographing them though, with the glarey bright sunshine that coated the airport.

Many people had their long expensive lenses out and were shooting away, so I expect there will be a flood of high res well zoomed shots from the day uploaded throughout the week- there's already a few on Wings Over Cambridge, and I expect Keagan will post his bunch at ARNZ- however, for the time being, here are a sample of my pics from a plain old Fujifilm S700:

Properly the least expensive model at Ardmore, the the windows causally wound down

I swear this is just a Boeing Stearman cut in half!
