Wow! smile.gif ... But ... no wonder our society is going down the pan when all our police force goes round chasing cars. Just look at all the resources waste/damage done (and other lives put at risk) ... all for one 15yr old idiot.

Looks at least 7 years ago, if not more judging by the livery. Police are damned if they do, damned if they don't. If they let him go and he crashes causing death later on it would be the cops fault for letting him go, if they stop him using all the resources they are told they should be spending time chasing "real crims" .. the thing is they didn't know whether the car occupants were real crims or not, but they failed to stop, which is generally a sign there's something there to hide.

Nowdays Police are instructed to abandon the pursuit if there's any unjustified risk of damage to people or property so you wouldn't necessarily see the same thing happen now and "failing to stop" carries a wet bus ticket fine.

The 'slide tackles' looked cool though smile.gif

The only problem in this country is the "Arm Chair Critics" who think they can do better but couldn't possibly be bothered proving that they really can instead they sit back and say "they could be doing better things with there time/resources and our tax payers money" when in reality "Failing to Stop when instructed by a Police Officer" is a serious offence.
