Here’s one more alpine GA field that didnt look so good with the 20 M mesh. Mostly GoogleEarth and guesswork again, but its a really nice location and I think its one of the few left that isn't on Lawries to-do list so maybe some of you have a home for it

True: Top pic is stock.
However - I seem to have a flatten issue.
Anyone else see this??

Oh dear, thats definitely not the effect I was trying for- is that with the AFCAD copied into the Scenery / World / Scenery folder?

Howdy Charl,

A second GNZLAP NZGT AFCAD ( blink.gif blink.gif ) in your AddOn Scenery? winkyy.gif

BTW: Thanks, Hugh. Great little scenery.

Meh...you always have to assume the designer dropped the clanger, not you biggrin.gif
Noo not GNZLAP (I did check), but an irritating aborted attempt to get gliders up in the air:
an AFCAD called NZGliderTemp tucked away in an obscure folder *DOH*

Great addition to the Mount Cook area, thanks Hugh.
It's probably the closest thing I"ve seen to a sloping runway in Flight Sinmualtor - Christian's topo strip maps beyond the runway, up the hill to where the buses are parked!
Just the ticket for cruising up to collect a fare or two in the Porter. clapping.gif

Great you got it sorted out. (Gotta hate it when things like that happen.)

Glad its working- that north slope is really a taxiway, but the grass taxiway texture is not the best feature of AFCAD. I used runway grass texture for the lower end and just left the slope alone- flattening everything looked horrible…it would work miles better with a photoreal texture like Aratula and those other great Mark Lee sloping strips but thats higher up my learning slope, er, curve...

Would love to see something like that for this airstrip, just gorgeous shots on this thread:
