Very nice little pocket rocket available from Premier Aircraft Design

I did a doodle paint for -KOH

I won't do a big write-up and upload, as it isn't quite the right model, and the paint itself is not all that good.
Perhaps we could host just the bmp texture file here for those who want it.

Flies very well, can be quite the little airliner, but has good STOL performance too.

Looks good Charl - I believe PAD are bringing out the longer fuse version - sorry couldn't resist correcting the heading its a MU-2 not a MU-22.

Snap!! .. I'd just spotted it on their site on a casual visit late last week and was buzzing about NZ in it over the weekend. Was thinking of painting one in the old Air Central livery as have just read a book about the airline. Is ZK-KOH the Waikato Air-Ambulance machine?

Well, there's the Lifeflight Metroliner, and I seem to recall seeing a Navajo air ambulance in the past as well.

Very Nice Charl it's our Fixed-Wing Westpac Air Ambulance here in Hamilton,

I had the opportunity to fly down to NZAP last week in ZK-KOH but when it goes for maintainance in AP they always manage to find something to keep it there for an extended period of time and as I had to start later on that night I didn't want to take the risk of being stuck in Taupo.

Anyway got a work Christmas Do due to start soon must away plenty of complimentary drinks to drink will attempt to drain the bar single handedly hehehe.

Took this one for a spin today, the 'tron to Pauanui - really love the front end for some reason. It's a good looking model:

But is it meant to accelerate that fast?

It's meant to be a bit of a pocket rocket.
But it sure can stop, too

I've noticed there's a -KOH paint on the correct model of MU-2 at the bottom of the PAD Index. Is that your paint Charl?

Ah! Hadn't seen that.
Yes, this time it's an "Official" paint as it will be released with the model.
Actually, PAD have been great about this.
I redid a paint for their Marquise (the stretched version) and then discoverd -KOH is a rare 3-bladed prop version with 1 less window than their model.
So they went away and fiddled and came back with the correct model for the paint!
If you look carefully at the video above, you'll see it is actually a Marquise, not the original short-body winkyy.gif

A 414 conquest aye... thats new.
Come on Naki even you can do better than that tongue.gif
BTW there are 2 conquests, a 1 and a 2 model

Edit:
There are no 690B's (anymore) but there is infact an old straight 690 and 690A but good luck seeing them in nz (all though I think on is back at the mo) they both pretty much live overseas now.

Attention to detail. Gosh I'm a prick laugh.gif

OK OK a 441 Conquest...slip of the finger biggrin.gif .....yeah I guess those 690(A)s are overseas a lot.

The other Conquest is a 425 (basically a turboprop 421) - I see it quite a bit at NZTG

..and someone says the Metros but arent they modelled in the VOZ AI?
