Spitfire TR.9 and some other aicraft.

A separate section for photographers to upload and comment on everything from amateur plane spotting images to professional air to air shots.

It was great being able to fly alongside Doug and Keith on a very nice day in Auckland.

Special thanks to Doug Brooker for making it possible for us all to see a Spitfire flying in New Zealand again.

Have just completed a large website update and rather than post a thread on each aircraft I have included them all here.
You can see more at the links below.

Fantastic shots as usual Gavin - always great to see the Spitfire, I see it quite often at Ardmore but it's nice to see some aerial photos of it. May I ask what sort of aircraft N10702 is? (think that's the rego - a little hard to see! tongue.gif)

It's a Stampe I think. Either from France or Belgium, their answer to the Tiger Moth.

You are right Its a Stampe built in Belgiium - this example is owned by Gene DeMarco. Nicer than a Tiger Moth in its handling.

Great pics, as ever! It's such a RARE sight to see a Spitfire these days ... any chance of a "heads up" for future flights??? Even 24 hrs notice would be enough for us Aucklanders to charge up our batteries for our cameras. Even without cameras, it'd be great to see one!

The Stampe is a very nice aicraft with great flying qualities.
Here is another shot that I like, quite surprised it came out at all as a miss match in speed is required to get knife edge flight air 2 air.
All credit to the pilot.
