Approximately 250 km north of Sydney is Coffs Harbour and with it airport scenery blends in superb with FTX AU Gold

I ve never stopped here before , always past through at speed or flown past it , its a good time to explore

Nice pics, Ian.
They essentially bult a new airport next to the existing one, didn't they?
I could never figure out the need, other than being halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, what happens there??
Perhaps your explorations will cast a little more light...

From altitude that scenery is very convincing.
WHere does the airport stop and FTX AU start?
Would the water be quite as aquamarine, that far south?
Looks more like northern Queensland.

Your first shot reminded me of sceneries done a few years ago by John Ross in this neck of the woods.

He also did Koolangatta if I recall.
Is your scenery perhaps by the same guy?

I think i need a Holiday just to explore this scenery .... no sidetracking , and even return to the original BLUE and tweak it .. its a huge area sad.gif

Mmmm well yes and no...

still not sure what happens there, although Wiki says:
According to the CSIRO, Coffs Harbour has the most livable climate in Australia and is nestled between a high mountain backdrop and dozens of unspoiled beaches. Coffs Harbour's economy is based mainly on farming (of bananas), tourism, and manufacturing

Sounds like everyone thinks of retiring there...
