Probably not................ as i have said before,......... i NO LONGER have FSX. Sold it some time ago.
A bit awkward to build airports for FSX without actually having FSX to build them in.............![]()
I have a "to do" list of airports and airfields for FS9 that i am working my way through, and want to get those done first.
Once that list is complete, i MAY think about buying FSX again, getting together the necessary scenery tools, and building new airports.
That wont happen until next year sometime ( if it happens)...........................

So you've done your own NZAA?
You wouldn't have any screenshots would you?
No,....... i havnt,.......... but if i can find the time in between work, caring for my wife whos just got out of hospital, the kids, and scenery building etc,... i might take some. I built it about 18 months ago, much more fps friendly than the other 3 freeware options available, and fits RealNZ Auckland City.
Wasnt going to bother uploading it, as i was waiting on RealNZ NZAA..........

Kelburn wrote:QUOTE (Kelburn @ Nov 2 2008, 05:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>...Shayne Butler's is out of proportion...Interesting comment - it sits on RealNZ photoreal pretty solidly I thought.
What's your gripe with it?

Kelburn wrote:QUOTE (Kelburn @ Nov 5 2008, 09:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>just to re spark this up,
Snowman do you have any screenshots of your Auckland scenery?
Please? (Just to be polite)
If i can find the time in between my work, family, looking after a wife thats just got out of hospital after a major operation, other evening commitments i have, and building work on sceneries that are getting way behind ,................ i may take some pics.
I started it about 18 months ago, and it was only intended for me anyway.
It uses a few default objects, quite a few EZ Scenery objects, a couple of objects from the "Jetways and Terminals for FS9" package for NZAA, and a couple of items from a couple of payware sceneries ive got. Due to the fact it uses a couple of objects from payware sceneries, i couldnt upload it for all to use anyway........
I never finished it,............ im happy to wait for Rob's RealNZ masterpeice to be finished.
There are 4 options freely available for NZAA,.........
Auckland 2005,
Auckland Airports for RealNZ Auckland City, by Rob Diebold,
The "Jetways and Terminals for FS9" package for NZAA,
and another NZAA scenery using default FS9 objects by Luke Clark.

Kelburn wrote:QUOTE (Kelburn @ Nov 6 2008, 04:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Right. I might edit Shayne butlers. It's got a few random parts. Actually how much does Auckland 2005 change shayne butlers scenery?
A few changes for the better in it.
I would reccommend the 2006 version by Rob Diebold. Its the EXACT SAME airport as Auckland 2005, but he's stripped out all the static aircraft, and other useless fps consuming stuff. If you have RealNZ Auckland City by Robin Corn, Rob Diebold's version is also the better one as it removes all the roads and city buildings etc, so there are no building double-ups with the RealNZ scenery, like 2 Skytowers, and 2 harbour bridges etc..............

Could be a little difficult............... Kinda hard to build sceneries for FSX without having FSX to build them in first !!
With whats happened at Aces Game Studios, its not only FSX that will have a longer life, but FS9 has been given a new longer lease on life as well.
I will continue to develop sceneries for FS9 for now, as the demand is still well and truly there for them.
I will probably go to FSX maybe later in the year, but will continue developing for both sims.

When I installed it, a couple of years ago, I seem to have deleted anything to explain who the author was, what version etc. I've never been very happy with it (as an ex Dunedin boy) and seem to remember having tried a number of versions. So, good stuff Laurie, head down and bum up.....
I was using Dunedin V3 by Daniel De Bono, with a few addidtions and modifications by myself.
Claude Schmitt also did a version for FS2002 and FS2004.
Both versions represented NZDN as it used to be,........ my new scenery represents NZDN as it is now, with the new terminal and carparks etc.......
Its about 50% complete, so it will be a little while yet................
