If you are a real F16 lover this Aerosoft F16 would be for you , but i have found it very limited almost boring, the model offers nothing new, It is 16 tho

It dose look pretty from most angles , being prob,y the most photographed modern day fighter since its debut at the Paris Air Show in 1974

The Cockpit , the Head-Up ( HU ) maybe the talking point as with some options , no weapon release tho .

it nice sitting in your lazyboy chair ripping through the valleys , the Acceleration X F18 is equal in many respects

Anyone remember IRON EAGLE ... to this day i could not figure out were Mister Masters got his weapons from , and to never run out of them

and if you have the Just Planes Doco .. loved the landings

Ian, Ian, Ian - bored: with an F-16! ohmy.gif
Never thought I'd see the day...
It's all that boat stuff, messing with your dedication.
Take the day off, go down to the lake, float the boat, do a couple of those runs around in circles, thumbs in ears, eyes closed, "Lalalala..."
You'll feel better immediately. blink.gif

I'm struggling to find the point in having a fighter in FS that can't actually *do* anything.

I'd suggest people save their money and go out and buy an old copy of Falcon4 (or Falcon4/Allied Force) then add one of the many (free) "add-ons". Whilst the scenery of F4 is certainly dated, the campaigns are still *superb* and the avionics are excellent. It's still amazingly immersive ... after all these years! There's life in the old dog yet, as OpenFalcon/Freefalcon continue to be worked on - with a release of Freefalcon5 being hinted at by Christmas this year.

Take a look at these screenshots *then* decide whether the Aerosoft offering is worth it:

There are some stunning videos kicking around as well.

I believe FSE will answer that question ... Fighters , Warplanes in flightsim , we are only training for the real one unsure.gif

Bugger ... I gave my limited edition Falcon4 away .. sat there collecting dust

What's FSE?

I have a spare copy of F4 if you want it, Ian. I couldn't resist the deluxe binder version when I saw it on Trademe - even though I had regular copy. Free to a good home winkyy.gif
