This is my first flight for here on NZFF

The flight involves flying a Lancair 2000 to New Zealand and will be delivered to the new owner.

As this is flight simulator I couldnt fit ferry tank in the aircraft. A ferry tank allows the aircraft to cover larger distances than without it and it is a must for the flight ahead.

The Route.

Leg 1 - Hollister Mun - 307 to Hilo Intl - PHTO. Flight Duration: 8hrs 29mins

Lets get going.

Its 6.30am on friday morning at Hollister Mun airport.

After completing all the paperwork and preflighted the aircraft I taxi up to the runway

The Lancair climbing fast

Won't see land again for 8 and half hours

Not muc room in here to stretch out. Cruise speed is 190kts

Heres a shot of the aircraft somewhere over the Pacific.

Land finally!!

The Lancair about to touch down at Hilo Intl

Parked up at Hilo

If you want somemore reading in regards to Ferry flying check the news letters at Australian Air Ferry

I hope you enjoyed an insight into the type of flying that I like to do in flight simulator
