It looks like we're going to have another freeware A380 out soon. Looking in the 'teasers' part of the Project Airbus forums I found this topic:

If the quality so far is anything to go by, we're all in for a real treat. I've moved on to using the PA A320/A319 and A318 over any paywares I have, no doubt I'll be doing the same with this! It's looking awesome so far, lets all hope it makes it to the final stage and released to us all drool.gif

Well I've always been puzzled by the PA offerings, given the plethora of Airbus freeware out there,
What's your take on these, compared with say IFDG, Aerodesigns, POSKY or CLS???

Awesome. Lets hope that the VAS panel FMC can be installed as per the Ken Mitchel panel for the A320. Flying these aircraft around without an FMC is hopeless.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Yeah, Hopefully it turns out good as the ONLY decent A380 available, freeware and commercial, is the Overland A380.

Im hoping somebody will make a decent payware one as well though, I hate flying freeware. laugh.gif

UPDATE!!!

Seems as though this will be the FIRST freeware A380 to have a VC. No previews yet, but if it's anything like PA's previous work on the aircraft models we're in for a real treat. More pictures of the aircraft in FS are here

Though I'm not too sure what's going on with the some of the textures...maybe it's just the fact that the screenshot is too close, I'm not sure. But some of the textures aren't looking too great. Have to wait and see until it's fully complete and in an airline livery.
