Does anyone have any pics of the new 3 bay hanger for Izard Pacific Aviation, that was built at NZSL ??
Im particularly interested in its exact location on the feild, as the current Google Earth shots were taken before it was built ............

Hi Laurie
I do not have any useful photo at the moment but am visiting Izard's Farm with a walking group on Oct 20th so can get some photos then.
I can tell you that the hangars are set back from the runway towards the opposite end to the Aeromodellers' clubhouse and on the East side.
Hope to be of help.
Cheers

I started modelling this the other night but I visited before the new hangers were built as well.....

The only ones I took photos of were the smallish square one at the south end, the club house and the half round hanger at the end of the taxiway.

Ill pop some pictures up when I have something worthy of showing.

Im about 70% finished with this scenery. Ive got some pics of the hanger itself,..... its just the exact LOCATION on the feild that im lacking.
Hell, even a hand drwan sketch of the location would be good......................
Or markings on a Google pic would do, if someone could post it here..................

Thanks Mike,......... that is a great help. Would i be correct in assuming that there is a concrete or seal taxiway going straight out to the runway from the hangers ???
Do you remember if there is a road, or a track, going from the new hanger down beside the runway, or wherever, to the buildings at the other end of the airfeild ???

Hi Lawrie
I think the taxiway exited the runway at 90' but only have a vague recollection of a pale surface - not sure what.
I do not think there is any track between the two areas. Certainly we walked along the runway itself.

Thanks Mike,.......... every little bit of info helps.
I see there's is a concrete apron in front of the hanger in the pics ive got, so maybe i'll ill just make a narrow concrete taxiway from it to the runway, and see what it looks like in the sim...................
