It is designed for FS2004,..an FSX specific version is in the works but you wont see that for a while,...the model will work in FSX but as I stated in the installer you will encounter gauge incompatibilities as well as prop disk textures not displaying properly. I will consider doing a quick porting to fsx to at least get it displaying properly. I want to do a full package with proper panel and VC but that will be quite some ways off..

Yeah well seeing ive got one almost in my back garden here in Hamilton i thought it would be a good one to start with ,most prob with time it wont be released until the next sim similar to how your one has time tabled ,can i ask so far how many hour or months etc would you have worked so far on a project this size ? and what do you expect the VC to take modeling etc ,not for a time frame of the FSx version t as theres alot more stuff after that getting it all to work just a timeframe of modeling all of that stuff in

I lost count dude,..hundreds of hours,..many 4am bed times !.. I dont expect the actual VC to take too long once its started ,.its the conversion from FSDS v2 to FSDS v3.5 that is going to be painfull,..I stuck it in v 3.5 and got thrown a list as ling as my arm of errors and "un-normalised normals",..so its tackling all of those ,getting used to the texture formats and having to re-tag just about every part and redoing animations that is going to take time. Am taking a break from it this week, but will get stuck into the FSX conversion starting next week.. pirate.gif . I am hoping to have working winch etc in the FSX version which will be cool,..maybe find someone to make some NZ based missions for it...

Adrian:

Check the tail rotor, I think it's going in the wrong direction. During shut-down, you can clearly see it rotating in the wrong direction. Can you confirm that please? AWESOME aircraft! clapping.gif

Dude,..cant believe that slipped through !. It was brought to attention shortly before release that the main blades were turning the wrong way,..so i fixed that ,..then altered the animation direction in the aircraft.cfg which because both main and tail rotors were affected then reversed the tail rotor animations as well,..which didnt occur to me at the time !. I have fixed that and will see about putting up a fix on the rnzaf site.

Cheers for bringing that to my attention mate clapping.gif
