Lovely shots, nice exposure and framing, lucky to have a little cloud in the sky in Brisbane to break up all that blue winkyy.gif
what sort of kit do you use, must be a nice lens?

how many of you guys have accounts at flickr.com and the likes, or any other photo sharing sites?

Gidday Guys,

Dino- In these shots, I was using a Nikon D60 with Nikkor 70-300mm VR Lens. Its a great little setup. I also have Flickr.

Jason, Yeah I did see the AN124 as I was coming in on the train. Its HUGE. It was parked next to the KC-10 USAF that left later that day, and it made it look small. I couldnt take any pictures though as I cant walk to the Freight/VIP terminal sad.gif

Cheers for the positive comments guys! biggrin.gif

An Air NZ 733 in Aus. A bit odd.
How much did your D60 cost as I'm thinking of getting one...

Scale - funny to think .. cut part part that 737 fuselage and whack it onto the 77 wing ... thats the engine , the little things we forget to scale these planes tongue.gif

Well, I knew ANZ flew A320s over to Aus, but never knew about the 733s! Norfolkair...hmmm not sure what I like most, the simple refreshing livery...or the PLANE IT'S ON!!! Really love these shots.

Kelburn- $630 AUD for the D60 with Kit Lens (18-55mm VR) but thats grey import, no warrenty through Nikon.

737s only flying while the upgrade on the A320s is in progress smile.gif

A bit weird to see those over there. Won't be too long until the A320s are back on again.

as with benwynns post Its been working the Brisbane route for around 2 weeks my sister and her family got stuck with it coming back on the 27 aug although seems the first IFE fitted bus is up and flying albeit going through cert as with this post-Air New Zealand's first IFE upgraded Airbus A320, ZK-OJN, carried out a 3 hour proving flight from/to Christchurch during the course of the afternoon flying over Southland and Otago. This flight was part of the certification process associated with the fitting of the Panasonic inflight entertainment package from http://mrcaviation.blogspot.com/ )

Air NZ also operate a 777 as NZ135 on sundays.

FYI- NZ135/136 is a Daily Service AKL/BNE, and lately has been with 777, but rotates from 777 to 747.

As for jetphotos, unfortunently only one. As I went early morning, most of these pictures are backlit, and therefore cant be submitted- Though I will be submitting the 2nd last 767 one smile.gif

yeah we saw a AN124 banking on finals over archerfield a few weeks ago when an other one came in, the make an awesome sound and make the 747's that normally fly over appear tiny!!

Hey did the camera instantly up the quality of your shots?
(Also have you tried long time exposure?)
